NYE Decoration

This year we will be celebrating New Years Eve in the house of our friends and besides several snacks I will make some decorations. It will be a real party, not just a gathering of a handful of people, as I was told. The first thing I made will be hanging above the drinks and snacks table.

I cut the letters out of cat food paper boxes (yes) and sticked copper colored paillettes on it. Looks quite cheerful, I think!

A closer look:

May you all have a great New Years Eve! I wish you the best for the year to come!!

  1. I always think of sparkle and shine for New Years, so your banner fits in perfectly with what I would imagine a decorated New Years would look like! Love the copper color as well!!!

  2. This is so pretty! You know, I often think that because most of us just tend to leave our Christmas decor up until early January, it's a shame that New Year's doesn't commonly get decorated for very much unto itself. It's wonderful that you've been creating projects that do just that. I think I'll follow your lead next year. :)

Sending my deepest wishes your way for a healthy, happy, fun filled 2015!
